Family Reserve 20 Year is drawn from wheated bourbon distilled and aged at Buffalo Trace in Frankfort, with barrels chosen by Julian Van Winkle III and Preston Van Winkle under the joint venture their family entered in 2002. The brand is named for Julian P. Van Winkle Sr., who ran Stitzel-Weller in Louisville. The whiskey is bottled at 90.4 proof.
