Pappy Van Winkle's Family Reserve 20 Year comes from barrels selected by the Van Winkle family, working from whiskey distilled and matured at Buffalo Trace in Frankfort since their 2002 joint venture. The name honours Julian P. Van Winkle Sr. of the Stitzel-Weller distillery, whose wheated mash bill the house still uses. This bottling is 90.4 proof.
