About This Bourbon
Batch 02, the middle bottle of Old Forester's 150th Anniversary trio, was bottled unfiltered at 126.4 proof, with more red fruit and chocolate than its siblings.
All three batches came from 147 barrels filled on one day, the survivors of 150.
Tasting Profile
- Nose: Cherry cordial and raspberry jam, with vanilla and a little cedar.
- Palate: Sweet and spry, with French toast, chocolate malt, dark toffee and cinnamon.
- Finish: Lively spice at the front, then cedar and a mildly dry, warming fade.
Serving & Food
Pour a half measure and let it sit before nosing. Try char siu or dark chocolate torte.

About the Distillery
George Garvin Brown founded Old Forester in Louisville in 1870 and sold it only in sealed bottles. It is the founding brand of Brown-Forman, still controlled by the Brown family, and it has been distilled on Whiskey Row since 2018.
