From the Producer

Chateau Mouton Rothschild has been in Rothschild hands since 1853 and was promoted to First Growth status in 1973, the only change ever made to the 1855 Medoc classification. Each vintage leaves Pauillac in a stencilled original wooden case naming the chateau and the year. This is the empty 2005 case.
