McKinley Springs Cabernet Sauvignon Horse Heaven Hills 2012 is a Washington State Cabernet built around ripe black fruit, regional structure and straightforward drinkability rather than heavy-handed oak styling.
From the Producer
McKinley Springs is a family-owned vineyard and winery in the Horse Heaven Hills AVA of eastern Washington. The Andrews family began farming the land after acquiring it from the Smith family in the 1940s and secured water rights in the early 1950s. Cabernet Sauvignon vines were first planted by Bob and Rob Andrews in 1980, building the family's reputation as one of the region's established Cabernet growers.
