Maison Leroy Pommard 2003 750mL is a mature village-level red Burgundy from one of the Côte de Beaune's most collectible negociant houses, drawn from the structured, age-worthy Pommard appellation.

Maison Leroy was founded in 1868 by François Leroy as a Burgundy negociant business in Auxey-Duresses. The house passed through three generations before Lalou Bize-Leroy became managing director in 1971; the Leroy family also holds a long-standing stake in Domaine de la Romanée-Conti. Pommard is known within the Côte de Beaune for firmer, more structured reds than its neighbouring villages, built to reward extended cellaring — the 2003 vintage, from an unusually hot growing season, now shows two decades of development.
