Maison Leroy Meursault 2000 750mL is a mature white Burgundy from one of the Côte de Beaune's most collectible negociant houses, offering two decades of bottle age on a classic Meursault appellation.
From the Producer
Maison Leroy was founded in 1868 by François Leroy as a Burgundy negociant business in Auxey-Duresses, close to Meursault itself. The house passed through three generations before Lalou Bize-Leroy became managing director in 1971; the Leroy family also holds a long-standing stake in Domaine de la Romanée-Conti. Meursault is renowned for producing some of Burgundy's richest, most textured white wines, and the 2000 vintage now shows the developed character that comes with meaningful cellar age.
