Macallan James Bond 60th Anniversary Release Decade II 700mL is the 1970s-inspired bottle in The Macallan's six-decade James Bond 60th Anniversary series, released in 2022 to mark six decades of 007 on screen. The whisky itself is consistent across the six bottles in the set, with each variant distinguished by Decade-specific collector packaging drawn from the Bond film archive.
From the Producer
The Macallan was founded in 1824 by Alexander Reid in Craigellachie, Speyside, and built its identity on European-oak sherry casks seasoned in Jerez. The distillery joined the Edrington Group in 1999, and in 2002 launched the Fine & Rare Collection that anchored its collector side. The James Bond 60th Anniversary Release is one of The Macallan's most visible modern collaborations: six Decade-themed bottles (one per Bond era), released together to celebrate six decades of 007 films, with packaging drawn from the archive artwork of each era.
Appearance — Bright amber.
Nose — Bright citrus, vanilla, coconut, dried fruit and gentle chocolate notes.
Palate — Polished Macallan sweetness with orange, sherbet-like citrus, dried fig, raisin and oak spice.
Finish — Smooth and stylish, with lingering vanilla, citrus and spice.
Best For
Macallan collectors building a complete six-bottle 60th Anniversary set, James Bond memorabilia buyers, and premium gifting on milestone occasions.
