Smooth Arabica is the global travel-retail expression in the second release of The Macallan's Harmony Collection, a series pairing whisky craftsmanship with the world of coffee. Whisky maker Steven Bremner selected sherry-seasoned European oak casks alongside sherry-seasoned American oak casks, aiming for the gently spiced, soft character of an americano rather than the more intense espresso profile of its Intense Arabica sibling. The packaging incorporates discarded coffee bean husks, with the pack's green colour representing the un-roasted coffee bean. It launched in November 2022 at an RRP of £140 (US$185) across The Macallan's airport boutiques and China Hainan duty free, at 40% ABV.
