Macallan Harmony Collection Intense Arabica is a limited Speyside release that links whisky craftsmanship with the aromatic world of coffee. Matured in sherry-seasoned oak casks and presented as part of The Macallan's Harmony Collection, it is a modern collector bottle with broad gifting appeal.

Inspired by Intense Arabica is the domestic-market expression in the second release of The Macallan's Harmony Collection, a series exploring the parallels between whisky and coffee craftsmanship. Whisky maker Steven Bremner worked with coffee growers, roasters and baristas — including Ethiopian coffee grower Kenean Asefa Dukamo — before selecting a combination of sherry-seasoned European oak casks for rich, intense notes and sherry-seasoned American oak casks for softer vanilla sweetness. The packaging incorporates discarded coffee bean husks, with the pack's red pantone colour reflecting the coffee fruit. It was released in October 2022 at an RRP of £140 (US$185) and rests at 44% ABV.
