Suntory was founded in 1899 by Shinjiro Torii, and the Hibiki 100th Anniversary Blend was released to mark the company's centennial. The blend draws malt and grain whiskies from Suntory's Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita distilleries, presented in Hibiki's signature 24-facet bottle, which represents the 24 divisions of the traditional Japanese solar calendar referenced in Suntory's blending philosophy.
