Glenfiddich was founded in 1887 by William Grant in Dufftown, in the heart of Speyside, and remains part of the independent family-owned William Grant & Sons group. The distillery is recognised for its tall stills, light Speyside distillate and the deep on-site warehouse stocks built up over more than a century of continuous operation. The Ultimate range represents the oldest tier of the Glenfiddich portfolio, drawing from the distillery’s reserve stock of long-aged bourbon and sherry casks laid down decades earlier. The 38 Year is one of the flagship entries in that prestige tier and is presented in luxury decanter-style packaging aimed at the high-end gifting and collector market.
