Four Roses picked this 8 year old single barrel and bottled it for its own Kentucky gift shops.
The master distiller chooses each barrel, bottled uncut and without chill filtration, so strength and flavour vary.
Tasting Profile
- Nose: Vanilla and caramel with red fruit, cinnamon and a floral edge from the Four Roses yeast.
- Palate: Full and lively.
- Finish: Long and warm, drying to oak, clove and a little mint.
Serving & Food
Check the proof first; at barrel strength a splash of water helps. Smoked duck or pecan tart suits it.

About the Distillery
Paul Jones Jr. trademarked Four Roses in 1888, and its Spanish Mission distillery at Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, dates from 1910. Kirin owned the company from 2002 until April 2026, when E. & J. Gallo of California bought it.
