About This Champagne
Dom Pérignon P3 1992 takes a modest vintage and shows how much it gained from decades on its lees.
The original 1992 was elegant and easy to drink but a little short of depth.
Tasting Profile
- Nose: Anise and fresh almond, then dried fig, ripe mango, wax and a light roasted note.
- Palate: Rounded and silky, with lush white fruit, walnut and hazelnut, and a soft, gentle mousse.
- Finish: Savoury and persistent, with candied grapefruit, caramel and a peppery, herbal edge.
Serving & Food
Serve at about 12°C in a large glass and drink soon; it is fully mature. Try morel and chicken vol-au-vent, char siu or a wedge of Comté.
