Dom Pérignon P3 1992 is a third-Plénitude (P3) release of the 1992 vintage, held on lees for around thirty years before disgorgement — the most extended stage of the Dom Pérignon late-release programme.
From the Producer
P3 (Plénitude Troisième) is the third and rarest stage of Dom Pérignon’s late-release programme, in which the same vintage wine is held on lees for roughly thirty years before disgorgement and re-release. The 1992 vintage was a later-ripening year in Champagne that produced structured, age-worthy wines. The P3 1992 carries the same 1992 base wine released for a third time, marked as P3 on the back label and sold gift-boxed in limited quantities.
Tasting Profile
- Nose: Mature citrus, toast and nutty complexity in an evolved prestige-Champagne style.
- Palate: Layered and deep, with developed autolytic character, preserved acidity and the long-cellared breadth expected from a late-release bottle.
- Finish: Long, savoury and persistent, with mature Champagne complexity rather than youthful fruit at the forefront.
Best For
Collectors, special-occasion gifting and mature-Champagne service where long cellar ageing is part of the appeal.
