Dom Pérignon P2 2004 is the second Plénitude (P2) release of the 2004 vintage, returning the same 2004 base wine after extended lees ageing for added breadth, depth and savoury complexity.
From the Producer
The 2004 vintage was declared by Dom Pérignon after a cool, structured growing season that produced wines of particular tension and ageing potential. P2 (Plénitude Deuxième) is the late-release stage in Dom Pérignon’s three-stage Plénitude programme, with the same vintage wine disgorged after around fifteen years on lees rather than the seven-to-eight years of the standard release. The 2004 P2 carries the house’s characteristic Pinot Noir and Chardonnay blend, marked as a second-Plénitude release on the back label.
