The Dalmore 20 Year is a 20-year-old Highland single malt from Dalmore, longer in cask than the 18 and dressed in a presentation that signals “gift bottle”. Like the rest of the core age range it carries the house’s Matusalem oloroso sherry-cask finish.
From the Producer
Dalmore sits on the Cromarty Firth in the northern Highlands and has been making whisky since 1839, today part of Whyte & Mackay. The 20 Year is built around long bourbon-cask maturation followed by finishing in hand-selected oloroso sherry casks supplied to the house by González Byass, the bodega that has supplied sherry casks to Dalmore for several decades (thedalmore.com).
