Cristal 2007 750mL is a Champagne from Louis Roederer (Cristal) 2007 from France, bottled at 750ml. It is part of the producer's established range and is offered as a fine-wine purchase for collectors or for service at the table.
From the Producer
Louis Roederer created Cristal in 1876 as a special cuvée for Tsar Alexander II of Russia, presented in a flat-bottomed clear crystal bottle — a design chosen at the time to make any hidden explosive visible, and still used for Cristal today. Because clear glass offers no protection from light, each bottle is wrapped in a signature gold cellophane. Cristal is made only in years Roederer judges strong enough for the house's top cuvée, and 2007 was a cooler, rain-affected Champagne vintage that the house nonetheless selected for release, drawing fruit from Roederer's own Grand Cru Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vineyards.
Best For
Best for fine-wine collectors 2007, restaurant cellars, and gifting on commemorative occasions. Pairs naturally with shellfish, seafood, aged cheeses or aperitif service.
Tasting Profile
Champagnes from this producer line typically combine citrus and orchard-fruit notes with a fine mousse, brioche depth and a sustained finish. Aging potential depends on the specific vintage and producer style.
