Buffalo Trace Distillery sits in Frankfort, Kentucky on a site with continuous distilling history since 1812, and is today owned by the Sazerac Company (Wikipedia, 'Buffalo Trace Distillery'). The E.H. Taylor range revives the whiskey programme of Edmund Haynes Taylor Jr. (1830-1923), the Kentucky distiller and politician who bought the Old Fire Copper (O.F.C.) Distillery in 1870 and gave it its first name (Wikipedia, 'Edmund H. Taylor Jr.'). Warehouse C is part of that historic brick warehouse stock on the Buffalo Trace campus, and the Taylor Warehouse C expression is bottled-in-bond from barrels aged there.
