About This Bourbon
Ten years old and bottled in bond, Taylor Warehouse C takes its name from the brick warehouse Taylor put up at his Frankfort distillery in 1885.
Tasting Profile
- Nose: Warm cherry crumble, rum-soaked raisins and a light dusting of oak.
- Palate: Dark cherry and cola, vanilla and a toasted wood note that builds as you drink.
- Finish: Lingering, with mint, espresso, fruit bread and a hint of anise.
Serving & Food
Best at about 18°C in a Glencairn or small copita, without ice; a teaspoon of water at most. Pair it with aged Gouda, roast venison with juniper, or a simple cherry clafoutis.
Good to Know
Why do the floors matter? The second floor ages whiskey slowly. The sunny fifth floor pushes barrels harder.
