Cesare Bussolo Barbera d'Alba Roscaleto 2020 750mL is a single-vineyard Barbera d'Alba from the Roscaleto site worked by Cesare Bussolo in the Langhe hills of Piedmont. Barbera d'Alba carries more structure and depth than Barbera d'Asti from the same grape.


From the Producer

Cesare Bussolo is a small, family-run estate based in La Morra, in the Barolo production zone of Piedmont. The estate works roughly six hectares of vines across the Langhe hills, producing Nebbiolo, Barbera and Dolcetto. Roscaleto is a single-vineyard Barbera d'Alba from old vines on calcareous-clay soils, fermented in stainless steel to preserve Barbera's natural freshness and aged in large Slavonian oak botti for gentle micro-oxygenation without oak flavour. Cesare Bussolo's Barbera d'Alba is one of the recognised single-site expressions from the La Morra area.
