BV Coastal Cabernet 2015 750mL is a Cabernet Sauvignon from Beaulieu Vineyard's Coastal Estates range, sourced from California coastal appellations and bottled at 750mL. It sits alongside Beaulieu's flagship Rutherford wines as the brand's everyday-drinking tier.
From the Producer
Beaulieu Vineyard was founded in Rutherford, Napa Valley, in 1900 by Georges de Latour, and the winery's name comes from his wife Fernande's exclamation on first seeing the property — "Quel beau lieu" ("what a beautiful place"). Beaulieu survived Prohibition by supplying sacramental wine, then built its modern reputation after hiring French-trained winemaker André Tchelistcheff in 1938, whose techniques shaped much of California winemaking. Coastal Estates is Beaulieu's broader, value-focused Cabernet program, drawing on coastal California fruit rather than the estate's home Rutherford vineyards. Tasting Profile
Red wines from this producer line typically combine dark-fruit and savoury notes with structured tannins and a sustained finish. Aging potential depends on the specific vintage and producer style.
