Bulleit 95 Rye Frontier 700mL is a straight rye whiskey built on a 95% rye mash bill, giving it a markedly spicier, drier register than the Bulleit bourbon.

Bulleit traces its recipe to Augustus Bulleit, who made whiskey from around 1830 until his death in 1860; his great-great-grandson Tom Bulleit revived the brand in 1987, reaching retail shelves in summer 1995. The rye was introduced in March 2011 as a separate expression with its own mash bill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley, distilled in Lawrenceburg, Indiana by MGP Ingredients and bottled at 45% ABV. That grain split is the reason the Frontier rye reads so differently from the high-rye bourbon that carries the same label. The brand is owned by Diageo.
