Stagg Batch 24A is an uncut, unfiltered Kentucky straight bourbon from Buffalo Trace’s modern Stagg line, released at 127.6 proof for buyers who want full barrel-strength impact. Batch-specific bottlings like 24A draw attention from enthusiasts who track proof, release character and year-to-year variation.
From the Producer
The Stagg name honours George Thomas Stagg, who rose from whiskey salesman to co-owner of the O.F.C. (Old Fire Copper) Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, and modernised its operations through the late 1800s. His influence was such that in 1904, more than a decade after his death, the distillery was renamed the George T. Stagg Distillery; the site is known today as Buffalo Trace. Buffalo Trace bottles the Stagg line uncut and unfiltered — straight from barrel to bottle with no water added — which is why each batch carries its own proof and character rather than a fixed house strength.
