About This Wine
A Central Coast Pinot Noir from Brucher, a small Santa Barbara County label, made from Edna Valley fruit in San Luis Obispo County.
Tasting Profile
- Nose: Red cherry, cranberry and raspberry, with a little forest floor and dried herbs as the wine has aged.
- Palate: Medium-bodied and gentle, with ripe red fruit, soft tannin and fresh Central Coast acidity.
- Finish: Moderate length, finishing on cherry, light spice and an earthy note.
Serving & Food
No decanting needed; just stand the bottle up for a few hours and pour at 14 to 16°C into a Burgundy glass. Roast chicken, mushroom risotto or soy-braised duck all suit it.

About the Winery
Peter Brucher, who moved to Napa Valley in 1972, founded the Brucher brand in Santa Maria in 1990. Mike Schmidt later took it on, alongside his Golden Bear label.
