Arnaud Mortet Charmes-Chambertin 2023 is a Grand Cru Burgundy built for collectors who want youthful energy with serious cellar potential. From one of Gevrey-Chambertin's respected modern domaines, it offers the perfume, structure and class expected from this prestigious site.
From the Producer
Domaine Arnaud Mortet is a small, family-run estate in Gevrey-Chambertin run by Arnaud Mortet, who previously managed Domaine Charles Mortet before founding his own domaine in the early 2000s. The domaine works with old-vine Pinot Noir across Gevrey-Chambertin and the surrounding Côte de Nuits villages, farming sustainably and vinifying with whole clusters and careful extraction to keep the wines fragrant and ageworthy. Charmes-Chambertin sits on the eastern edge of the Gevrey-Chambertin slope, where deeper clay and limestone-marl soils produce Grand Cru wines known for perfume, structure and a finer, more elegant expression than some of the riper, more muscular Gevrey-Chambertin Grand Cru sites.

- Palate: Silky yet structured, with layered red fruit, mineral tension and refined oak framing the wine.
