Distenta V White 2023 is a limited Sine Qua Non California white shaped around the producer’s textured Rhône-influenced style and very small production profile.
From the Producer
Sine Qua Non is Manfred Krankl's project in Ventura County, started in 1994 and built on Rhone varieties from Santa Barbara County. Krankl's rule is that no wine is ever repeated: every release gets a new name and a new label he designs himself, so a cuvee name appears once and never returns. Production is small, allocation is through the winery's own list, and the whites in particular are made in very limited quantity alongside the better-known reds.
Tasting Profile
- Nose: White peach, citrus oil, white flowers and subtle spice.
- Palate: Generous and layered, with ripe stone fruit, creamy weight and bright acidity keeping the wine in shape.
- Finish: Long, broad and fresh, with citrus pith, floral notes and lingering texture.
Best For
Cult California buyers, Rhône-style white drinkers and cellars that collect small-production Sine Qua Non releases across colours.
