Le Clos Goillotte is Domaine Prieuré Roch’s tiny Vosne-Romanée monopole, described by the domaine as a 0.55-hectare triangle in front of the former chais of the Prince of Conti and historically kept within the family until 1988.

Domaine Prieuré Roch was founded in 1988 by Henry-Frédéric Roch, whose family was also part-owner and co-manager of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti. The estate farms its roughly twenty hectares biodynamically, with no synthetic products in the vineyard or cellar and whole-bunch vinification without added sulphite, now led by Yannick Champ. The domaine describes the Le Clos Goillotte wine as one some would call “feminine,” for its endless curves and exceptional delicacy.
