Domaine Prieuré Roch is based in Vosne-Romanée and was built around Henri-Frédéric Roch, who succeeded his uncle Charles Roch as co-director of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti alongside Aubert de Villaine. Nuits-Saint-Georges is one of the principal Pinot Noir communes of the Côte de Nuits, and this Vieilles Vignes (old-vine) 2018 bottling in magnum draws on that fruit for extra concentration and slower cellar development.
