Russell's Reserve 10 Year is Wild Turkey's Kentucky straight bourbon, aged a decade in new charred oak and bottled at 90 proof without chill filtration. This is the 2022 release, in 750mL.

Russell's Reserve is the family label at Wild Turkey in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. Jimmy Russell started on the floor there in 1954 and has now spent seven decades at the same distillery; his son Eddie joined in 1981 and the two work as co-master distillers. The 10 Year was launched in 1998 as Jimmy's own pick of older barrels, aged in the deepest alligator-char (#4) casks the distillery uses and bottled at 90 proof without chill filtration.

A bourbon that works neat, over a large cube, or as the base of an Old Fashioned that needs a real age statement behind it.
