From the Producer

Michter's traces its name to a Pennsylvania distillery founded by Swiss Mennonite farmer John Shenk in 1753, later known as Bomberger's Distillery before closing in 1989. In the 1990s, Joseph J. Magliocco and Richard Newman revived the Michter's name in Kentucky, building today's Shively and Fort Nelson distilleries in Louisville. Michter's 10 Year is part of the distillery's Limited Production range, selected from barrels the team judges to have reached exceptional maturity, often significantly older in character than a typical 10-year bourbon.
