About This Whisky
Springbank 10 Year Old is the flagship of the Campbeltown distillery's range and the 2025 bottling of that annual release, at 46%. It is matured in a combination of 60% bourbon and 40% sherry casks.
Like every Springbank, it is made entirely on site, lightly peated and distilled two and a half times, with no chill filtration or added colour.
Tasting Profile
- Nose: Cereal, gooseberries, mango, vanilla and honeycomb.
- Palate: Oatmeal, malt and orange pulp, then heather honey, toffee and cinnamon.
- Finish: Sweet, with a characteristic sea-salt note.
Serving & Food
Try it neat, then with a few drops of water. Smoked salmon or mature Cheddar work well.
Good to Know
Is it peated? Lightly, and distilled 2.5 times.
Does it change year to year? Slightly, depending on the casks available.
