What is offered here is the empty original wooden case supplied by Domaine de la Romanée-Conti for its 2011 La Tâche, with no bottles and no wine included; the case is offered empty as a collector item. La Tâche is a grand cru monopole entirely owned and farmed by DRC in the commune of Vosne-Romanée, adjoining the Romanée-Conti vineyard, and is bottled under its own name each vintage. The wooden case replicates the domaine's labelling for the 2011 shipment and is acquired by collectors to complete a La Tâche vertical, to serve as original packaging when moving bottles between cellars, or for display purposes.
