The item offered is the empty original wooden shipping case supplied by Dominus Estate for the 1992 vintage, with no bottles and no wine included. Dominus Estate is produced at the Napanook vineyard in Yountville, Napa Valley, and has been made by the Moueix family (Christian Moueix) since the early 1980s from vines originally planted by Captain George D. Yount. The wooden case was used by the domaine to bottle, age and ship the wine to importers worldwide, and collectors acquire empty original cases for display, cellar decoration, completing a provenance set, or as replacement packaging when reselling individual bottles.
