Role Overview
Representing Solera’s growing portfolio of wine and spirits brands
Solera HK Limited is looking for a commercially driven Sales Representative to represent our small but growing portfolio of wine and spirits brands across Hong Kong.
This role is suited for someone who already understands the beverage trade, has active or recent on-trade and/or off-trade account experience, and can independently develop opportunities, manage client relationships, and work toward clear sales goals and KPIs.
The successful candidate should be professional, persistent, organized, and comfortable building long-term relationships with restaurants, bars, hotels, retailers, distributors, corporate clients, and other trade accounts.
Role Summary
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00am–7:00pm
- Work week: 5 days per week
- Experience: Minimum 3 years relevant beverage trade sales experience
- Accounts: On-trade and/or off-trade accounts
- Employment: Full-time
- Focus: Sales targets, KPIs, account growth, and brand representation
- Process: Zoom interview, then an onsite meeting
- Response: Every application is reviewed; shortlisted candidates are contacted directly
Key Responsibilities
Account Development & Sales Growth
- Develop and manage on-trade and/or off-trade accounts across Hong Kong.
- Represent Solera’s portfolio of wine and spirits brands professionally.
- Identify new sales opportunities with restaurants, bars, hotels, retailers, corporate clients, and trade partners.
- Build a healthy pipeline and follow up consistently to convert opportunities into sales.
Client Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective accounts.
- Understand client needs, recommend suitable products, and support repeat business.
- Conduct regular account follow-up, visits, product presentations, and sales conversations.
- Represent Solera with professionalism, product knowledge, and good commercial judgment.
Sales Targets, KPIs & Reporting
- Work toward agreed sales goals, account development targets, and KPIs.
- Track leads, visits, proposals, follow-ups, and sales results accurately.
- Provide regular updates on pipeline, account activity, market feedback, and competitor activity.
- Take ownership of follow-through so sales opportunities are not missed.
Brand, Events & Trade Support
- Support brand launches, tastings, trade events, and customer activations when required.
- Help introduce products to suitable accounts and promote portfolio growth.
- Coordinate with internal operations and customer service to ensure orders and client requests are handled properly.
- Share market insights to help improve pricing, promotions, and sales strategy.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant sales experience in wine, spirits, beverage, hospitality, F&B, FMCG, distribution, or related trade sales.
- Strong experience with on-trade and/or off-trade accounts is required.
- Good understanding of the Hong Kong beverage, hospitality, restaurant, bar, hotel, retail, or distribution market.
- Proven ability to work toward sales goals, account targets, and KPIs.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and follow-up skills.
- Organized and able to manage pipeline, accounts, visits, and customer notes.
- Professional, presentable, persistent, and commercially minded.
- Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, CRM/order systems, and basic office software.
- Fluent Cantonese and basic English preferred. Mandarin is a plus.
- Wine and spirits knowledge is strongly preferred.

- Can work independently and manage a pipeline.
- Is comfortable with targets, KPIs, and regular reporting.

- Is organized, reliable, and commercially practical.
- Has interest in premium wine, spirits, hospitality, and brand building.

Compensation & Growth
Salary will be based on experience, account network, ability, and suitability for the role.
We are open to paying more for a strong sales candidate with proven beverage trade experience and the ability to grow accounts.
