From the Producer
Yamazaki 18 Year is aged for over 18 years, mainly in sherry oak casks, at Yamazaki Distillery, Japan's first malt whisky distillery, founded in 1923 by Shinjiro Torii in Shimamoto, Osaka Prefecture. The range also draws on American and Japanese Mizunara oak casks. This Japan-market "old" release predates Suntory's current international packaging and label design.

Yamazaki 18 Year shows raisin, apricot and cafe au lait aromas from its Mizunara oak influence, with blackberry, strawberry jam and dark chocolate on the palate.
