Yamazaki 18 Year is aged for over 18 years, mainly in sherry oak casks, at Yamazaki Distillery — Japan's first malt whisky distillery, founded in 1923 by Shinjiro Torii in Shimamoto, Osaka Prefecture. The range also draws on American and Japanese Mizunara oak casks, and the 18 Year expression has been named Supreme Champion Spirit at the International Spirits Challenge. This Limited Edition presentation carries the standard 18 Year liquid in a dedicated release label.
