The Antique Collection goes out once a year from Buffalo Trace in Frankfort, and William Larue Weller is its wheated entry — uncut, unfiltered, bottled at whatever strength the barrels came in at, which is why the proof moves edition to edition. Wheat in place of rye as the secondary grain is what gives it the softer, rounder frame under all that strength. This is the 2021 release.
