About This Bourbon
W.L. Weller C.Y.P.B. stands for "Craft Your Perfect Bourbon".
In 2015 Buffalo Trace launched a website asking whiskey drinkers to design their ideal bourbon by choosing the recipe, warehouse position, age and proof. More than 100,000 people took part.
Tasting Profile
- Nose: Light citrus, vanilla, sweet oak and a little caramel.
- Palate: Rounded and balanced, with soft wheat sweetness, honey and gentle spice.
- Finish: Medium-long, with vanilla, orange zest and a clean oak fade.
Serving & Food
Drink it neat at room temperature, or over a single large cube on a humid Hong Kong night. Good with honey-roast ham, lemon drizzle cake or salted cashews.
