Yellow Label is Veuve Clicquot's signature non-vintage cuvée, built around the house balance of freshness, strength, aromatic richness and silkiness. Pinot Noir provides the structural backbone typical of the house, with a touch of Meunier rounding out the blend and Chardonnay adding elegance. To hold the style steady release after release, the blend can include up to 45% reserve wines drawn from a cellar of roughly 400 reserve wines, some as old as thirty years — the largest and most varied such collection in Champagne.

• Nose: White and yellow fruit with brioche and vanilla from the reserve wines.
• Palate: Dry and Pinot-led, with a fine mousse, good weight and the house's characteristic structure.
