About the Maison
Eugène-Aimé Salon’s idea was to make Champagne from a single year and Chardonnay grown in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. This Grand Cru village in the Côte des Blancs remains the basis of the house’s vintage wines. Salon makes a declaration only for selected harvests, allowing the site and year to be read together rather than masking them in a non-vintage blend.
