- Nose: Trademark Grange barrel-ferment markers with sarsaparilla, cola-root beer, black liquorice, soy and North Barossa Shiraz fruit.
- Palate: Blackberry, blackcurrant, fig, rhubarb and quince, followed by black olive, shaved truffle, vanillin, boot polish, cola and ristretto coffee.
- Finish: Pronounced grippy tannins with impressive length, depth and weight.
