Henri Jayer Vosne Romanee Cros Parantoux 1992 750mL
Slightly under ripe nose that is still fresh and displaying only the beginnings of secondary aromas that lead to wonderfully complex, medium weight flavors and plenty of length. A beautiful wine in the context of the vintage and while many '92s are now beginning to crack up, this has just now begun drinking well and if you prefer your red Burgundies on the softer side, this could be held for another 5 years without fear. I have encountered some variation with two bottles significantly leaner flavors than this one.
