Hennessy XO Exclusive Collection 8th 2014 700mL is the eighth release in the Hennessy Exclusive Collection series of limited XO Cognac bottlings, produced from the house's XO stock and presented in 700ml format.

From the Producer

Maison Hennessy was founded in Cognac in 1765 by Richard Hennessy, an Irish military officer who settled in the Charente region, and is today part of the LVMH group's wines and spirits division. The Exclusive Collection is a long-running limited-edition programme that has released small, individually numbered batches of eaux-de-vie drawn from Hennessy's XO cellars since the early 2000s, each release highlighting a specific terroir or blending approach. Hennessy's standard XO blend itself was created in 1870 by Maurice Hennessy and is drawn from across the six crus of Cognac.

Tasting Notes

• Nose: Dried fruit, polished oak, vanilla, dark chocolate and warm spice.
• Palate: Full and rounded, with stewed fruit, spice, dark cocoa and structured oak.
• Finish: Long and warming, with sweet spice, toasted oak and a deep, lingering fruit note.
