This is the flagship Gentleman's Cut Kentucky Straight Bourbon, Stephen Curry's own whiskey, in a bottle carrying his autograph. Inside is the regular 90-proof bourbon, aged five to seven years; the signature is what turns it into a keepsake.
About This Bourbon
The mash bill is 75% corn, 21% rye and 4% malted barley, a fairly high-rye recipe. After pot distillation the spirit matures for five to seven years in new charred oak and is bottled at 90 proof (45% ABV). Corn gives honey and vanilla, the rye adds a peppery lift, and the small malt share brings a touch of toast. This bottle is hand-signed by Curry.
Tasting Profile
- Nose: Honey and fresh vanilla pod, caramel, a little baked apple and oak spice.
- Palate: Soft and rounded; caramel and cinnamon, then toasted grain and a gentle peppery rye note.
- Finish: Medium length and clean, with vanilla and a hint of dark fruit.
Serving & Food
If you do open it, pour it neat at room temperature, over one large cube, or into an Old Fashioned. It sits well beside barbecued pork ribs, fried chicken or a sticky toffee pudding. Signed bottles are best kept upright and out of direct sun so the ink and label stay clean.

About the Distillery
Gentleman's Cut launched in May 2023. It was developed by Curry's company SC30 Inc. and Napa winemaker John Schwartz, owner of Amuse Bouche, through a joint venture with Boone County Distilling Co., a craft distillery on the Kentucky Craft Bourbon Trail near Cincinnati.
Boone County takes its name and inspiration from a distilling tradition in the county that goes back to 1833, and it works grain to glass. The flagship is distilled, aged and bottled on site under the Game Changer Distillery name, using a 500-gallon copper pot still rather than the tall column stills of the big Kentucky houses.
