Elmer T. Lee Single Barrel is a 90 proof Kentucky straight bourbon, each bottling drawn from a single hand-selected barrel to the standard set by Master Distiller Emeritus Elmer T. Lee. This is the 2015 release - a vintage bottling of a whiskey that is now made in far smaller quantities than demand for it.

From the Producer

Elmer T. Lee joined the distillery in 1949 as a maintenance engineer and rose to Master Distiller. In 1984 he created Blanton's, the first commercially sold single barrel bourbon in the world - the reason single barrel exists as a category at all. Barrels for the bourbon carrying his name were selected to his own standard. He died in 2013, which is why bottlings from his lifetime and the years immediately after are followed closely.
