La Tâche is a 6.06-hectare monopole owned outright by DRC since 1933, sitting on classic Vosne brown limestone with deeper clay at the upper edge. The 2014 vintage in Côte de Nuits is widely described as one of the most successful recent vintages for Pinot Noir, balancing ripeness with the structure La Tâche is known for (romanee-conti.fr).
