Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Échezeaux Grand Cru 2003 Magnum is a 1.5-litre magnum of Échezeaux from Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, the famed Burgundy house that holds the monopole La Tâche and the full Romanée-Conti vineyard. Échezeaux is one of the domaine's two Grand Cru Pinot Noir bottlings outside the Vosne monopoles.

Domaine de la Romanée-Conti (DRC) is the most celebrated wine estate in Burgundy, founded in 1869 and now run by the de Villaine and Roch families. The domaine holds a unique portfolio of Vosne-Romanée monopoles — La Tâche and Romanée-Conti — together with a small holding in the Échezeaux and Grands-Échézeaux Grand Crus and a handful of white-wine parcels in Le Montrachet and Corton. Production is famously small and allocation-based, with wines released primarily through a long-standing list of négociants and importers worldwide. The 2003 vintage in Burgundy was an unusually hot, sunny year that produced ripe, generous Pinot Noir across the Côte, and DRC's 2003 bottlings are widely regarded as some of the more opulent, generous releases of the early 2000s. Magnum format adds rarity and ageing potential to an already scarce bottling.
