Dom Ruinart Blanc de Blancs 2009 750mL is Ruinart’s prestige Chardonnay-only Champagne, drawn primarily from Grand Cru vineyards on the Côte des Blancs and aged on lees for a decade before release.

Ruinart, founded in 1729, is the oldest established Champagne house and its prestige cuvée Dom Ruinart Blanc de Blancs is built on 100% Chardonnay from Grand Cru sites, mainly Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims. The 2009 vintage was aged on lees in the house’s historic chalk cellars before disgorgement, giving the cuvée its depth of orchard fruit, citrus and chalky mineral.

Tasting Notes

• Nose: Sun-ripened lemon, apricot, nectarine, white flowers and honeyed accents.
• Palate: Pure Chardonnay drive with citrus, fleshy orchard fruit, fine mousse and a more layered, gastronomic shape than a simpler aperitif style.
