Dom Pérignon Rosé 2005 is a vintage prestige rosé Champagne from Moët & Chandon's Dom Pérignon house, recognised for a sunlit, concentrated vintage that rewards cellaring.
From the Producer
Dom Pérignon is the prestige cuvée of Moët & Chandon, declared only in years the house deems worthy of vintage status. The 2005 growing season was one of the warmer, brighter vintages in recent Champagne memory, and the rosé reflects that generosity with ripe red fruit and a broad, vinous frame. Rosé is made by the traditional Dom Pérignon method of blending still Pinot Noir from selected sites with the finished vintage base wine.
Tasting Notes
Appearance — deep salmon with a fine, steady mousse.
Nose — wild strawberry, raspberry, blood orange, brioche and gentle smoke.
Palate — broad, vinous and concentrated, with layered red fruit, citrus lift and fine autolytic depth.
Finish — long and savoury, with mineral tension and a polished rosé Champagne close.
Best For
Fine-wine collectors, restaurant cellars and gifting on commemorative occasions. Pairs naturally with shellfish, seafood, aged cheeses or aperitif service.
