Dom Pérignon P3 Œnothèque 1970 is an exceptionally mature prestige Champagne release from Dom Pérignon’s late-disgorged library programme. Bottles from this era are rare and should be treated as collectible mature Champagne
From the Producer
Dom Pérignon is the prestige vintage cuvée of Moët & Chandon, with the first vintage declared in 1921. The Plénitude concept (P1, P2, P3) describes the same vintage wine released after successively longer lees ageing — P3, the third Plénitude, appears roughly 25-40 years after the vintage. The Œnothèque release programme covers P3 bottles kept back for late disgorgement; the 1970 vintage in P3 Œnothèque form is among the rarest bottles the house has released.
