Dom Pérignon P3 1985 is a third-Plénitude (P3) release of the 1985 vintage, held on lees for around thirty years and disgorged in the most extended stage of the Dom Pérignon late-release programme.

P3 (Plénitude Troisième) is the rare, late stage of Dom Pérignon’s three-stage Plénitude programme. The 1985 vintage — a classically structured year in Champagne — produced wines suited to extended lees ageing, and the P3 1985 is the same 1985 base wine returned to the cellar for around thirty years before disgorgement. The bottle carries the P3 stage and disgorgement information on the back label and is sold gift-boxed in limited quantities.

• Nose: Dried citrus, toast, honey, mushroom, spice and mature mineral notes.
• Palate: Creamy and complex, with evolved fruit, savoury depth and fine remaining freshness.
